Avengers x Reader - Secret Santa (Loki)

You carefully unwrapped the box, a lone note caught you eye. There was nothing else in it than a neatly folded note. The note read

Dearest (Y/N),
Forgive the single letter, it just wouldn’t be practical to not give you my gift in person. I wish to make this more private, the Stark balcony will have to do. I shall greet you out there the right way.

You weren’t too sure who could want to meet you in private, though you had an idea. You pulled on your (f/c) winter coat and headed towards the balcony, out there you awed at the thin blanket of snow that draped over the edge, the star light sky gave the perfect light glaring down on the city below, it was a perfect night. While you were watching the snowfall, a pair of arms made their way around you waist and held you close,

“Seeing you standing out surrounded by white, reminds me of a beautiful winter angle, my winter angle.” The voice belonged to your boyfriend for 6 months, Loki. You still remember the day you took him in, so beaten and broken, he was so cold and hostel at first, though it didn’t surprise you. You saw him for what he really was, and you loved every bit of it, the avengers weren’t exactly thrilled with the idea of you two together, but they slowly opened up to it, even supporting you. You turned your head to face him, giving him the warm smile he loved to see, he gently brought your lips to his own. Once you separated he looked up the sky above, “Isn’t it just a beautiful night, (Y/N)”

“I couldn’t have dreamed better.”

“It could always be better,” you looked towards him puzzled, he lifted his hand, spun it in a small circle, while it changed to a dark blue. Throwing his hand in the air, frost propelled disappearing into the sky. Few moments passed when a light snowfall began drifting below. You turned back full of joy and embraced Loki

“Sweetie, it’s wonderful.”

“Anything for you darling. I will do anything for you, I want to give you the world.” He held you tightly “I promise, I will never let anyone harm you, I want to spend the rest of the life fulfilling that promise.” You were know confused, he loosened his grip “And I think now is a good time,” Loki then, still holding you hands, crotched in front of you, he reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out your Christmas gift, a light gold and green ring. “(Y/F/N), will you do me the honor, of becoming my queen?” You covered your mouth, on the verge of tears. You couldn’t believe what was happing.

“Oh, Loki, yes! God yes! You don’t have ask twice.” You leaped into his arms, hugging tightly and kissing fiery. You couldn’t be happier, who would have guessed your secret santa would become you husband. Tonight, a new life would begin, not only you, but everyone else.


Epilogue
“You’re what!!!” Everyone cried staring at you with Loki’s arm wrapped around you.
Tony rubbed his temples. “So let me get this straight, you two are getting married? Tying the knot? Ball and Chain?”

You sighed, “Yes Tony.”

Thor crowded through to his brother, “Huzzah! This is wonderful news. We shall celebrate this occasion, father will be so proud.” Thor went on babbling as Loki led you across the room. He glared at you

“Oh come one honey, so Thor’s a little excited. They had to know eventually.”

“Yes, I know. But as long as I have you, those imbeciles’ annoyance will be bearable.” You smiled and kissed him.

“Yes, now come on, we still need to tell them the other good news.”

“No, I think they can wait a bit longer.” Loki grinned rubbing your tummy.
Yep, this was definitely only the beginning.
